Answer:

Graph B is a function

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the vertical line test to determine if a relation is a function.  If a vertical line passes through more than one point, the relation is not a function.

Graph A  At x=-1  a vertical line will pass through 3 points, so it is not a function.

Graph B  A vertical line does not pass through more than 1 point

Graph C  At x=2, it will pass through 2 points so it is not a function

jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

The width of the area model is equal to

(2x^2-x+3)\ units

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of a rectangular model is given by the formula

A=LW ----> equation A

where

L is the length

W is the width

we have

A=10x^2-5x+15

Factor the expression

A=5(2x^2-x+3)

substitute the value of the Area in the equation A

5(2x^2-x+3)=LW

In this problem

The greatest common factor of these terms is the length (L=5 units)

so

we can say that the width is equal to (2x^2-x+3)

therefore

The width of the area model is equal to

(2x^2-x+3)\ units

Hey there! :D

If m<A is the vertex, and it is isosceles, then the last two angles are equal.

All the angles in a triangle equal 180 degrees.

180-140= 40

40/2= 20

m<b=  20 degrees.

I hope this helps!

viva [34]

Answer:

Area = 90.03cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

s_1 = 14.9

s_2 = 14.7

\theta = 124 --- angle in between

Required

The area of the plate

Since \theta = 124 is between s_1 and s_2

The area is:

Area = \frac{1}{2} * s_1 * s_2 * \sin(\theta)

Area = \frac{1}{2} * 14.9 * 14.7 * \sin(124.7)

Area = \frac{1}{2} * 14.9 * 14.7 * 0.8221

Area = 90.03cm^2
