What is the central idea of this passage?

English

This passage is mostly based on how teenagers think of clothes and how much money they spend. This is actually a bit a true fact. Teens will have more of an opinion based view on things more than kids or adults. What we see, we judge based on whether we like it or not.

Teenagers are a very important area to market things to.

Select the level of usage most appropriate for the following situation.
HACTEHA [7]

Answer: A campaign speech delivered to a group of students would benefit best from informal speech.

Explanation: Using formal speech may make the speaker seem snobby or stilted. Informal -- but still appropriate -- language keeps the speaker on the same level as the other students while still conveying the goals and points of the campaign.

Hope this helped and consider marking brainleist?

lys-0071 [83]

Answer:

The persuasive writing style.

Explanation:

Which writing style problem is most apparent (obvious) in Statement 1?

- Take a look at Statement 1:

"Please come to the meeting with some out-of-the-box ideas that really push the envelope"

- Recall the types of writing style:

1. Expository  2. Descriptive  3. Persuasive  4. Narrative

ANSWER:

The whole question is a note (probably from the head of sales team) to members of the sales team in an organization. The writer is exposing them to the purpose of the meeting or topics of discussion for the meeting (expository writing).

The writer is also persuading the team members to brainstorm before coming for the meeting; so as to make important contributions.

In Statement 1, the persuasion of the writer seems more like coercion. The writer is persuasive but stern about the level or quality of ideas he wants to get at the meeting.

The writing style problem that is most apparent in Statement 1 hence, is the persuasive writing style.
