Answer: November 1, 1955 – April 30, 1975,

Explanation:    The Vietnam War was a long that pitted the government of North Vietnam against South Vietnam and its principal ally, the United States. The conflict was intensified by the on going Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union.

The Vietnam War severely damaged the U.S. economy. The war also weakened U.S. military morale and undermined, for a time, the U.S. commitment to being immortal

As its name says, the Vietnam War took place mainly in Vietnam, the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia.

Both sides wanted the same thing, a unified Vietnam. But while He and his supporters wanted a nation modeled after other communist countries, Ba and many others wanted a Vietnam with close economic and cultural ties to the West.
