You first combine like terms -1x and -4x to make the equation 21=6-5x then subtract 6 from itself to cancel it out and from 21, 15=5x where x= 3

Well first you add like terms
21=6-1x-4x
21=6-5x
now, move your x value in front of the =
21=6-5x
<u>-5x   -5x
</u>
21-5x=6
next, move the 21 to behind the =
21-5x=6
<u>-21    -21
</u>
-5x=6-21
then do 6-21, which equals -15, so
-5x=-15
next, divide both sides by -5
<u>-5</u><u>x</u>=<u>-15</u>
-5    -5
x=3

Drag the correct graph of each equation into the space next to that equation to show how the output y-values change with changes
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

see the explanation and the attached figure

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1)  Linear

we have

y=x+3

This is the equation of the line in slope intercept form

The slope is positive and equal to m=1

The y-intercept is b=3

As the value of x increases the value of y increases too

As the value of x decreases the value of y decreases too

therefore

The graph in the attached figure

Part 2) Quadratic function

we have

y=3x^2

This is a vertical parabola open upward with the vertex at origin

As the value of x increases the value of y increases too

As the value of x decreases the value of y increases

therefore

The graph in the attached figure

Part 3) Exponential function

we have

y=3^x

This is a exponential growth function

As the value of x increases the value of y increases too

As the value of x decreases the value of y decreases too

The initial value or y-intercept is 3

therefore

The graph in the attached figure

What is the next number 0 3 8 15 24 35
Veronika [31]
0+3=3
3+5=8
8+7=15
15+9=24
24+11=35
The numbers are increasing by odd numbers so the next number will be 35 plus the next odd number, 13.
35+13=48
Hope this helps.

Let f(x) = x ^ 2 and g(x) = x - 3 . Evaluate (g?f)(0).
nignag [31]

Answer:

g(f(0))=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

f(x)=x^{2}

g(x)=x-3

we know that

(g o f)(x)=g(f(x))

substitute the variable x in the function g(x) by the function f(x)

so

g(f(x))=x^{2}-3

Evaluate g(f(0))

For x=0

g(f(0))=0^{2}-3

g(f(0))=-3
