Homeostasis is the tendency to maintain a constant internal environment. The body maintains homeostasis for many factors in addition to temperature.
All mammals and birds are same, i.e they maintain homeostasis as they are warm-blooded animals. However, reptiles or the cold-blooded animals maintain their internal body temperature by basking in the sun.
