It’s simple. The younger the organism, the better it fights against viruses and diseases in general. As we age, our metabolism starts to slow down, and every condition is beginning to be harder and harder. Of course, genes play a big part, too. Not everybody ages the same. Thankfully, there are many things we can do to stop the process as much as we can — regular check up with doctors, physical activity, healthy nutrition, stress management, healthy sleeping pattern, are just a few ways.
