10 and 2/10 ar dasies
2/10 of 10=20/10=2
2 are dasies per arrangement

A.
4 times 2=8
8 daisiers

B. find not dasies

2/10=dasies
total=dasies+notdasies
notdasies=toatl-dasies
10/10-2/10=8/10
8/10 of all are not dasies
10 times 10 times 8/10=100*8/10=80

answer is 80 dasies

4 arrangements with 10 flowers each = 40 flowers
2/10 of the flowers are daises
2/10 * 40 = 8 daises

note that it will be the same as 2/10 * 10 = 2 for 1 arrangement so for 4 arrangement 2 * 4 = 8

Solve this equation: 4y + 228 = 352.
A. y = 31
B. y = – 31
C. y = 3
D. y = 145
V125BC [204]
To let the variable alone you can follow these steps: 1) subtract 228 from both sides 2) divide both sides by 4. This is the solution: 1) 4y + 228 - 228 = 352 - 228 => 2) 4y = 124 => 3) (4y)/4 = 124/4 => 4) y = 31. Then, the answer is the option A. y = 31.

Peter borrowed a sum of R12 850.00 at the beginning of a year with a certain simple interest rate. After 14 quarters, in a diffe
ladessa [460]

The original annual simple interest rate, rounded to two decimal places, is 3.79%

What is the formula for simple interest?

The simple interest on a loan or deposit is determined as the principal multiplied by the simple interest rate and time

I=PRT

The first loan:

P=12 850.00

R=r(assume it is r)

T=4 years

I=12 850.00*r*4

I=51400r

The second loan was taken after 14 quarters the first was taken out, which is the same as after 3.5 years, hence, the interest on the second loan is only for a half a year

P=3 273.00

R=0.5r( half of the interest on the first loan)

T=0.5 years

I=3 273.00*0.5r*0.5

I= 818.25r

Total interest=51400r+818.25r

Total interest=52218.25r

total interest paid=1 980.00

1 980.00=52218.25r

r=1 980.00/52218.25

r=3.79%
