Sonnet 43 uses both repetition and variety to intensify meaning.

There are several lines that begin "I love thee..." While these lines begin in the same way (repetition), the rest of the line varies.

For example, I love thee freely...I love the purely...etc. In these lines, EBB is able to discuss the many dimensions of her deep love. Her love has many sides to it, as the repetition and variety explain.

Repetition permeates this poem. Six of the 14 lines start with the words "I love thee," and the phrase occurs two other times with a slight variation in the last line. The phrase responds to the first line in which the poet sets out to "count the ways" in which she loves "thee." Three of those lines are directly next to one another, and the next line is just one line below that cluster, making the repetition very conspicuous.

Variety is evident in the repetition of the phrase “I love thee.” The poet changes the length and the flow of the details that follow the phrase. The first time it appears, the phrase is followed by a long, sweeping declaration:

to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

The sentiment intensifies when it is followed by three concise lines of verse. The first two occurrences of “I love thee” are followed by "to the depth" and "to the level." The next two instances of “I love thee” are followed by "as men" and "as they." The lines that follow repeat a structure: "with the passion" and "with my childhood's faith," but they differ in the way the two lines start.

Finally, in line 12, "I love thee" appears in the middle of the line. The last line changes the phrase to "I shall but love thee." The change in the dramatic rhythm signals a change as the poem comes to the end.

This combination of repetition and variety increases the dramatic quality of the emphatic statements the poem makes about deep, passionate, and multifaceted love.

Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

Answer:1. they'll flock in droves

2. I'm a made man forever

Explanation:

I could not find the excerpt that is missing in your question but I have found the possible answers to it.

 • ''The £1,000,000 Bank-Note" is published in 1893. year and it is a short story located in Victorian London written by Mark Twain.
 • Hyperbole is a rhetorical device that can be used in poetry and oratory where it can create strong feelings and impressions. The main key that is representing a hyperbole in these two sentences is '' droves'' and ''forever''.

The meaning of hyperbole is not taken literally in many texts because of its meaning that often sounds bigger and better than it actually is.

Genetic alterations that induce unchecked cell growth and tumor formation are the root cause of cancer.

What are the causes of cancer?

Genetic alterations that induce unchecked cell growth and tumor formation are the root cause of cancer. The fundamental causes of sporadic tumors are genomic instability and DNA damage. Genetic mutations that are inherited cause a small percentage of malignancies. The majority of malignancies are caused by environmental, behavioral, or lifestyle exposures.

Various lifestyle choices that may increase your risk of developing some adult malignancies include smoking, eating a lot of fat, and working with hazardous chemicals. However, most cancer patients are too young to have had prolonged exposure to these lifestyle risks.

Symptoms

 • Fatigue.
 • Lump or region of thickening that can be felt under the skin.
 • Changes in weight, such as unplanned loss or growth.
 • Alterations to the skin, such as yellowing, darkening, or redness, as well as unsealing wounds or modifications to moles that already exist.
 • Changes in bowel or bladder habits.
