Skipping meals to lose a few pounds is not healthy for your body. Your body can't function correctly if you do so. It would be more healthy to have healthier alternatives and exercise in order to burn off calories in order lose weight. Skipping meals will always have a bad influence on your body.

Hence, the situation describes above is an example of negative peer pressure.
