Well lets explain one by one: The muscles are the main form of movement within the wing, extending and contracting the wing .Muscles also initiate body movements, and, being attached to the bones by the tendons Tendons move the wing up and down, allowing for flight and vertical movements. Tendons connect bone to muscles. Without tendons, muscles and bones are independent from each other, so by connecting muscles and bones the bone moves as well. Once the bone and muscle have the ability to move together, the body itself can thus be moved in different ways. Muscles surrounding the bone are actually the tissue of the chicken wing that is commonly referred to as the meat. Joints connect the bones together and creates flexibility of the movement being controlled by the muscles and tendons.
