When a group of people or race is targeted during an investigation but only because of their gender, race, characteristics or ethnicity as opposed to individuality.

Explanation:

This happens a lot in regions where racial discrimination (Bias towards certain races), tribalism or religious segregation occurs and is known to cause an abuse to the fundamental human rights of these people.

Instead of this people should be suspected individually or based on evidences that can be proven to be related directly to the crime committed.
