F-32 = 1.8C

add 32 to each side

F = 1.8C +32

20 C

F = 1.8 (20) +32

F = 36+32

F = 68

25C

F = 1.8*25 +32

F = 45+32

F = 77

So 20C to 25C   is  68F to 77F

The length of a rectangle is 5 m less than twice the width, and the area of the rectangle is 52 m^2. Find the dimensions of the
lys-0071 [83]

length is 8m

Width is 6.5m

<u>Explanation:</u>

Let, width = b

So, length = 2b-5

area = 52m^{2}

We know,

area of rectangle = length X width

So, 52m^{2} = (2b-5) X b

On solving the above equation, we get

Width, b = 6.5m

length, l = 8m

Is the surface area and total area of a cylendar the same thing?
Sidana [21]

Answer:no

Step-by-step There is no difference between "total area" and "surface area" and your assertion that the "surface area" of a cylinder is 2pi rh is incorrect. That is the "lateral surface area". The ends of a cylinder are as much "surface" as the lateral surface

If AD = 5x - 7 and AB = 2x +11, what is the length of AD
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

The length of AD is 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve.

5x - 7 = 2x + 11 \\  \frac{ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - 2x \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  - 2x \:  \:    \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  }{3x - 7 = 11}  \\  \frac{  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  + 7  =  + 7}{3x = 18}  \\  \\  \frac{3x}{3}  =  \frac{18}{3}   \\  \\ x = 6

Now plug in:

5x - 7 \\ 5(6) - 7 \\ 30 - 7 \\ 23

^Therefore, your result^
