(i know, wack stuff there.)-- and $24.40 on food for the party, how much will she have left over for deserts?"

Answer:

$0.90

Step-by-step explanation:

She starts with $82 and you subtract the $56.70 spent on confetti, and subtract $24.40 she spent on food.

$82.00 - $56.70 - $24.40 = $.90

She only has 90cents ($.90) to spend on deserts

If I understand the drawing correctly than yes, because
6 9/12 + 6 9/12 = 12 and 18/12 = 13 and 6/12 or 13 and 1/2.
13 1/2 + 4 8/12 = 13 6/12 + 4 8/12 = 17 and 14/12 = 18 2/12 or 18 and 1/6.

A lamina with constant density rho(x, y) = rho occupies the given region. Find the moments of inertia Ix and Iy and the radii of
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

Ix = Iy = \frac{ρπR^{4} }{16}

Radius of gyration x = y =  \frac{R}{4}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: A lamina with constant density ρ(x, y) = ρ occupies the given region x2 + y2 ≤ a2 in the first quadrant.

Mass of disk = ρπR2

Moment of inertia about its perpendicular axis is \frac{MR^{2} }{2}. Moment of inertia of quarter disk about its perpendicular is \frac{MR^{2} }{8}.

Now using perpendicular axis theorem, Ix = Iy = \frac{MR^{2} }{16} = \frac{ρπR^{4} }{16}.

For Radius of gyration K, equate MK2 = MR2/16, K= R/4.

Pulse rates of women are normally distributed with a mean of 77.5 beats per minute and a standard deviation of 11.6 beats per mi
irakobra [83]

Answer:

a) Mean=0 and Standard deviation=1

b) The z-scores have no units of measurement

Step-by-step explanation:

When we convert all the pulse rates of women to z-scores using the formula;

z=\frac{x-\mu}{\sigma} the mean is 0 and the standard deviation is 1.

The reason is that, the resulting distribution of z-scores forms a normal distribution which has a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1.

b) The z-scores are standardize scores and has no units of measurement. They give us how many standard deviations below or above the mean of the corresponding values.

The function f(x) is shown in this graph. The function g(x)=-2x-6. Compare the slopes
stich3 [128]

Since f(x) = -3x + 2, the slope of f(x) is greater than the slope of g(x).

Hence, the answer is (D).
