Answer:

ME=459,364J

Explanation:

Mechanical Energy=Potential Energy+ kinetic Energy

m=82kg,g=9.8N/kg,h=490m,v=40m/s

To calculate Kinetic Energy:-

KE=\frac{1}[2}mv^2\\=\frac{1}{2}\times82kg \times(40m/s)^2\\=65600J

To calculate Potential Energy:-

PE=mgh\\=82kg \times9.8N/kg \times490\\=393764

therefore,

ME=KE+PE\\=65600+393764\\=459364J

The skydiver's total mechanical energy is 459365J

When the voltage is high, 100v, how does the filament appear?
Nat2105 [25]
<span>when voltage is high say 100V than the light will be a lot dimmer than design because the light is usually designed to be operated at 240V . If the supply voltage to the bulb is 100V, the filament dissipates 34.7W power and thus the temperature of the filament will be less and hence the bulb does not produce so much light .</span>

The two hot-air balloons in the drawing are 48.2 and 61.0 m above the ground. A person in the left balloon observes that the rig
Lynna [10]

Answer:

x = 54.15 meters between the balloons horizontally.

Explanation:

Hence, vertical distance between balloons is 12.8 meters.

y= 61-48.2  = 12.2 m

A right-angle triangle is formed with,

angle θ = 13.3 degrees

opposite (y) = 12.8

adjacent (x) = ?

tan\theta = \dfrac{y}{x}

Now by putting the values in the above equation.

tan13^{\circ}=\dfrac{12.8}{x}

x=\dfrac{12.8}{tan13^{\circ}}

x = 54.15 meters between the balloons horizontally.

Given theta = 7pi/6, find (sec theta, cos theta) ...?
uysha [10]
There is an identity of sin(2pi-x) = -sin(x) and cos(2pi-x) = cos(x). This is what we are going to use.

<span>(7pi/6) = (2pi)-(pi/6)

 </span>
Therefore:
<span>
1) sec(7pi/6) = 1/cos(2pi-(pi/6)) = 1/cos(pi/6) = 2sqrt(3)/3
</span>
<span>2) cos(7pi/6) = cos(pi/6) = sqrt(3)/2

NeTakaya

Answer:

When one object heats another, the temperature increase of one object does not always equal the temperature decrease of the other object because one object has a higher specific heat than the other.

A molecular compound is formed when a chemical reaction occurs between atoms of
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

the reaction mechanism occurs by electrostatic attraction of some type, where electrons are shared or transferred into the atoms and the new molecular compound is established more betabel than the indigenous atoms

Explanation:

Molecules are formed by atoms, through those of many chemical reactions that are processes by which the energy of the products is less than the energy of the reactants.

In these processes, in general, the reaction mechanism occurs by electrostatic attraction of some type, where electrons are shared or transferred into the atoms and the new molecular compound is established more betabel than the indigenous atoms
