Answer: BC is not a tangent line because m∠ABC≠90°.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given picture, we have given a triangle ΔABC, in which

∠A=25° and ∠C=60°, AB is the radius of the circle.

if BC is tangent to circle then ∠B must equals to 90°because tangent line makes right angle with the radius of the circle.

Since, we know that by angle sum property of a triangle , the sum of all angles of triangle is 180°.

Therefore, in ΔABC

∠A+∠B+∠C=180°

⇒∠B=180°-∠A-∠C

⇒∠B=180°-25° -60°

⇒ ∠B=95°≠90°

⇒ BC is not tangent line .

please help. people take my points without answering. 15 points left, please show work. and please dont just take my points
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Reference angle in quadrant I,

θ' = θ

Reference angle in quadrant II,

θ' = 180° - θ

Reference angle in quadrant III,

θ' = θ - 180°

Reference angle in quadrant IV,

θ' = 360° - θ

13). θ = 315°

Since, the given angle is in the 4th quadrant,

Reference angle θ' = 360° - 315°

                                 = 45°

14). θ' = (620° - 540°)

         = 80°

Reference angle = 80°

15). θ' = 630° - θ

          = 630° - 580°

          = 50°

Reference angle = 50°

A relay team of 4 people runs 3 miles. If each runs the same distance, how many miles dose each person runs. In fractions as div
saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

\[\frac{3}{4}\] miles

Step-by-step explanation:

The relay team consists of 4 people.

Total distance covered by 4 people = 3 miles

Each person runs the same distance.

This means that each person will run a distance equal to:

\[\frac{distance}{persons}\]

\[=\frac{3}{4}\]

So each person in the relay team of 4 will run a distance of \[\frac{3}{4}\] miles to cover the entire length of 3 miles.
