Ok so volume is 3 times so you could use paper or a calculator but basically you would have to multiply all of them so 10.4 x 5 x 8 is what you have to do and when you get that your done it is very simple hope it helps

Volume for a rectangular prism: V=whl

W=5
H=8
L=10.4

Plug them all into the formula (pretty much just multiplying them all together)

5*8*10.4= 416mm^3

In Triangle ABC, the length of Segment AB is equal to the length of segment AC. The length of segment BC is 4 less than twice th
seraphim [82]

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the length of segment AB.

Then the length of segment BC is (2x - 4).

The length of segment AC is x.

We know that x + (2x - 4) + x = 52.

Therefore 4x - 4 = 52, 4x = 56, x = 14.

Hence the length of segment AB is 14.

3 of the digits 0-9 are chosen randomly by a computer what is the probability that it will choose 3 sequential digits?
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

B. 1/15

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of ways in which we can select x elements from a group of n elements is calculated as:

nCx=\frac{n!}{x!(n-x)!}

So, the number of ways in which a computer can select 3 digits is calculated as:

10C3=\frac{10!}{3!(10-3)!}=120

Because there are 10 digits from 0 to 9.

Then, from that 120 options there are 8 that have 3 sequential digits. These options are:

{0,1,2} {1,2,3} {2,3,4} {3,4,5} {4,5,6} {5,6,7} {6,7,8} {7,8,9}

So, the probability that it will choose 3 sequential digits is equal to:

P=\frac{8}{120}=\frac{1}{15}

Stephanie jogged 3 2/9 miles in the morning. She Jogged 1 8/9 miles in the evening. How many total miles did Stephanie jog?
OlgaM077 [116]
First, add the 3 and the 1 to get 4. Then, add the 8/9 to the 2/9 getting 10/9. Then simplify it to 1 1/9. Then add the 4 to get 5 1/9

Can someone tell me the answer step by step about the surface area please I hope some one can answer me
Bas_tet [7]
1.) Find the width and length.
- Width is how wide it is
- Length is how long it is

2.) In this case, the width is 14, while the length is 3.

3.) Multiply those to find your surface area. ( 14 x 3 = 42 )

4.) 42 is your surface area, but AREA is always SQUARED ( small 2 on the top right of the number )

5.) Final answer will also have to be labeled. In this case, it is using in (Inches).

6.) 42 inches squared is your final answer.
