Question 1: The Millers have hired an interior designer to decorate their family room. they want to have a 22" by 30" oil painti
____ [38]

Answer: Total molding cost is $197.20.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Length of oil painting frame = 22 inch

Width of oil painting frame = 30 inch

Width for molding = 4 inches

So, Length after molding would be

4+22+4 = 30 inches

Width after molding would be

4+30+4 = 38 inches

So, Perimeter of molding would be

2(L+B)\\\\=2(30+38)\\\\=2\times 68\\\\=136\ inches

Cost per inch = $1.45

So, Total molding cost would be

1.45\times 136\\\\=\$197.20

Hence, Total molding cost is $197.20.

Solve for v in the formula v = u + 10t when u = 16 and t = 4. a. v = -22 c. v = 56 b. v = 3 d. v = 40
Katen [24]
Hello!

You put 16 in for u and 4 in for t

v = (16) + 10(4)

Multiply

v = 16 + 40

Add

v = 56

The answer is v = 56

Hope this helps!

Which number can each term of the equation be multiplied by to eliminate the decimals before solving?
Sati [7]
Ok...

5.6 = 56/10 = 560/100

1.1 = 11/10 = 110/100

0.12 = 12/100

--------------

\frac { 560 }{ 100 } j-\frac { 12 }{ 100 } =4+\frac { 110 }{ 100 } j\\ \\ \\ 100\times \left( \frac { 560 }{ 100 } j-\frac { 12 }{ 100 }  \right) =\left( 4+\frac { 110 }{ 100 } j \right) \times 100\\ \\ 560j-12=400+110j\\ \\ 560j-110j=400+12\\ \\ 450j=412\\ \\ j=\frac { 412 }{ 450 }

So, the answer is: 100

You could multiply both sides of the equation by 100 to get the value of (j) quickly.
