Newton's Laws of Motion laid the foundation for modern physics. These 3 laws were:

  1. Law of Inertia: An object stays at rest or remains at a certain velocity unless it is acted upon by force.
  2. Inertial Frame of Reference: The Sum of forces consists of the total mass of the objects multiplied by the acceleration of those objects.
  3. Action-Reaction: When a body exerts a force over another, this second body will exert a force of equal magnitude over the first.

These laws are the basis for many industrial developments throughout history.

Sir Isaac Newton's legendary work is mathematical principles of natural philosophies which was first published in 1687. This book had brought a significant change to the modern science. In this book he described the law of motion,foundation of classical mechanics, Newton's law of gravitation and  a derivation of Kepler's laws of planetary motion (which Kepler first obtained empirically).All this theories had set a revolution in scientific history.
