3 0

Answer:

The answer is d 200

Step-by-step explanation:

with all the information given you come out with the equation

11x+ 1100=3300

Because 8 per ticket plus 3 for each bat equals 11 and then add the 1100 from the concession.

In the end you have to pay the players and the workers so that all equals to 3300

So now you have to solve for x

get x by itself by subtracting 1100 to 3300 which equals 2200

11x=2200

and then get x completely by its self divide 2200/11

and x= 200

hope this helped!

Assume that the weights of Chinook Salmon in the Columbia River are normally distributed. You randomly catch and weigh 40 such s
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

a) i) This is a right-tailed test.

b)

\text{Test statistic} = 1.08

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Population mean, μ = 23 pounds

Sample mean, \bar{x} = 23.6 pounds

Sample size, n = 40

Alpha, α = 0.10

Sample standard deviation, s = 3.5 pounds

First, we design the null and the alternate hypothesis

H_{0}: \mu = 23\text{ pounds}\\H_A: \mu > 23\text{ pounds}

This is a one tailed(right).

Formula:

\text{Test statistic} = \displaystyle\frac{\bar{x} - \mu}{\frac{s}{\sqrt{n}} }

Putting all the values, we have

\text{Test statistic} = \displaystyle\frac{23.6 - 23}{\frac{3.5}{\sqrt{40}} } = 1.08
