Answer: 240 seconds OR 4 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the train = 1 km

Length of the tunnel = 1 km

Therefore, length of the train + length of the tunnel = (1 + 1) km = 2 km

= 2000 m

Speed of the train = 30 km/hr = 8.333 metres per second

Therefore, time taken by the train to cross the tunnel = 2000 m/ 8.333 m/sec.

= 240 seconds = 4 minutes

The width of a rectangle is equal to m cm, but it’s length is five times greater than the width. Find the area of the rectangle.
Irina18 [472]

Area of rectangle is 5m^{2}\ cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Width of rectangle = m cm

As length is 5 times more than width;

Length of rectangle = 5m cm

Area of rectangle = Length x Width

Area\ of\ rectangle = 5m*m\\Area\ of\ rectangle = 5m^{2} \\As\ length\ and\ width\ both\ are\ in\ cm\,\ therefore\\Area\ of\ rectangle = 5m^{2}\ cm^{2}

Area of rectangle is 5m^{2}\ cm^{2}

-3 is a solution of y &gt; -2<br> true or false
BartSMP [9]
That is false.  When you look at a number line, -3 is to the left of -2.  A number to the left of another number is less than the number to the right.
