Endpoint P(5, -3) and Q(2,4)

The midpoint of these two points would be (3.5, 0.5)

In order to find this, you need to take the average of the two point that you have. To do that, add the numbers together and divide by 2. Start with just the x values.

(5 + 2)/2 = 3.5

Now the y values

(-3 + 4)/2 = 0.5

This gives us the ordered pair of (3.5, 0.5)

30 POINTS!!! PLEASE HURRY!!Which of the following graphs correctly represents x > -1/2
miss Akunina [59]

Answer: Second graph

Why? Because we draw a dashed line through x = -1/2 = -0.5 on the horizontal number line (aka x axis). Then we shade to the right of this dashed line. The shaded region represents all points that make the inequality true. For example, the point (0,0) is in the shaded region. It has an x coordinate of x = 0 which is larger than -1/2

Side note: the dashed line says "points on this boundary do not count as solutions". So any point with an x coordinate of -1/2 does not count.

Which correctly applies the distributive property to show an equivalent expression to (8.6)(–2.5)?
PSYCHO15rus [73]
We see all of them have 2 and 0.5
so therfor b+c=-2.5

so

remember
a(b+c)=ab+ac
so
8.6(-2-0.5)=8.6(-2)+8.6(-0.5)
