The four states are A. Kansas, C. California, F. New Mexico, and G. Utah.
I know these are the four states of where popular soverignty was propsed/used to determine an answer to the slave question because when i learned about slavery, my teacher was saying Kansas, California, New Mexico, and Utah were the four areas were the slave question was answered.
