The windward side thus has lush vegetation while the leeward has most barren land and the occasional desert plant here and there.
One analysis that can be seen is the drastic decrease in comparison to other age ranges in the amount of men & women that is located in the age range of 30 - 35. This is the 1950s, which is only 10 -15 years after World War II. This population segment was hit the hardest, and were the ones that were drafted into the war.
