Answer:

$8000

Explanation:

sing the contribution margin analysis, net income is equal to the total contribution minus fixed cost.

i.e., net income = total contribution margin- fixed cost

9000= 30,000-21000

(3,000 units) $ 120,000

Variable expenses 90,000

Contribution margin 30,000

Fixed expenses 21,000

Net operating income $ 9,000

If sales decline to 2,900 units,

new sales revenue :

sales per unit

=$120,000/3000

=$40

New sales revenue = $40 x 2,900

=$116,000

variable expenses for 3000 unit = 90,000

variable expense per unit = 90000/3000= 30

variable cost for 2900 units = $87,000

Total contribution margin = selling price - variable expenses

=$116,000 - &87,000

new contribution margin =$29,000

New net operation income = new contribution margin - fixed costs

=$29,000- $21000

=$8000

olganol [36]

Answer:

a. 5.37%

b. 5.08%

Explanation:

Firstly, we need to calculate net profit before return on stockholder's equity

Sales. $4,430,000

Net income % on sales 2%

Net income. $88,600

We will also calculate total stockholder's equity

Sales. $4,430,000

Asset turnover ratio. 4.5

Total assets. $984,444

Less: current liab. ($167,000)

Less: long term liab. ($342,000)

Total stockholder's. $475,444

equity

a. Return on stockholder's equity

= Total stockholder's equity ÷ Net income

= $475,444 ÷ $88,600

= 5.37%

b. New return on stockholder's equity

Total assets $984,444

× Asset turnover ratio. 4.75

New total sales. $4,676,109

Net income % sales. 2%

Net income $93,522

Recall that total stockholder's equity = $475,444

Net income = $93,522

Therefore, New return on stockholder's

equity = Total stockholder's equity / Net income

= $475,444 ÷ $93,522

= 5.08%

_____ is the degree to which a company relies on a provider because of the importance of the provider's product to the company a
ra1l [238]

Answer:

Supplier dependence

Explanation:

When an entity finds itself in a situation where it has to rely on a particular supplier or provider of service for its business operations, either as a result of not being able to get an alternative supplier or the importance of the suppliers product to the entity, such is called supplier dependence.

It is very risky for an entity to depend on a particular source for input. This reverse order of an entity depending on the supplier for business strategy instead of the supplier depending on the entity is not a good business practice.

It’s easy for our own strategy to be determined by what our suppliers are doing. If we become too dependent, we risk having our strategy set by our suppliers rather than having them support our strategy. I’ve been thinking a lot here recently about how much suppliers can direct you
