I believe that In contemporary society, the statement "women do more chores regardless of whether they work outside the home" is true. Now of course this could vary from house to house. This is definitely tricky since it is hard to determine which statement is most applicable with the only thing to stand on being assumption. I do not think chores are split equally. Another possible option could be that "women do more chores if the choose to stay home with the children" logically, this makes sense because what else would the woman do if she was just a stay at home mom. But then again I hate to stereotype genders.
