Well, it depends on the context and the severity. If they are mad at you when doing it, it could be considered abuse, especially if there are marks on your body from it. If it is jokingly or sarcastic, then no. Clothes hangers and fly swatters don't seem that bad, but of course, I am not you, nor am I in your situation.
