write a imagery paragraph about a shopper , describe the clothing, outfits, belts and any other items you purchased
defon
Natasha was getting out of her car to the super store, she dusted off her soft warm clothes that where colored brightly, it complimented her dark curly hair. She then adjusted her boots and went into the store. She grabbed a shopping cart that was somewhat still cold from the weather, but paid no mind. She came to the store for only a few items. As she walked up to the women’s clothing racks she saw a beautiful red sparkling shirt, perfect for a night out. Kate then grabbed it to feel the material, the outside felt a bit gritty from the shimmers on it, but the inside was silky. The shirt was long sleeved and low cut. Kate decided to find her size and put it in her cart, afterwards, walked off to find pants to go with the shirt.

How effective is the use of rhetorical devices such as hypophora, parallelism, or repetition in “Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Dea
Elenna [48]
It is effective in that the rhetorical devices emphasise the message the author is trying to send:

- hypophora this is the exclamation and tone that the message sends forth

- parallelism is the comparison that the author makes between liberty or death, the author is declaring that life and liberty are one or the other

- repetition is the authors use of Give me which suggest that the author is in some way speaking to someone asking them to make a decision, likely someone with power

Irony is when something turns out exactly the opposite of the way that was expected. What is ironic about the Lion and the Tiger
Nitella [24]

L. Frank Baum’s “The Cowardly Lion and Hungry Tiger,” begins with the Cowardly Lion deciding he wants to tear a person to pieces and the Hungry Tiger deciding he wants to eat a “fat baby.” The story progresses with the lion and tiger walking around the Emerald City looking for a person and a baby.  However, when they find the objects of their quest, instead of tearing the person to pieces, the lion helps her up after she falls down and “with much gentleness carried her into her house.”  And, instead of eating a lost baby the tiger finds crying for its mother, the tiger “safely deposited [it] beside its mother,” which just so happens to be the same person the lion helps.  Irony can be seen here in how the opposites of the beginning intentions of their adventure occur—helping instead of killing.
