Answer:

The lines that point to the Lady of Shallot's impending death are:

Out flew the web and floated wide;

The mirror crack'd from side to side;

'The curse is come upon me,' cried

The Lady of Shalott.

Explanation:

These lines come right after Lady of Shallot had been tempted and had broken the rule that kept her alive, She must not look at the window, but she could not help herself and then when the curse has come to collect she realizes that is time to pay for the terrible mistake of being weak and surrender to her wishes to look at the place where she was supposed not to look at

Select the clause from the drop-down menu to correctly complete the sentence.
ella [17]

Answer:

The answer is D, Winston Churchill addressed the House of Commons with these famous words:

Explanation:

It fits the sentence best, by using process of elimination we can find the answer.

A wouldn't fit because it starts with although, so the other half would say something that would introduce information, but it doesn't.

B doesn't fit because it would offer a explanation, which it does not.

C doesn't fit because if it talks about a speech, and the other clause isn't a speech, it's famous words.

D fits because it says famous words, and the other half is a part of a speech which Churchill spoke.

I tried my best to explain it, i hope it's correct! Good luck with your studies.

konstantin123 [22]

the theme of two names, two worlds is discovering who you are as a person, dual identities. in the poem Jon, or Jonathan as you may call him discusses his culture, hobbies, dislikes and likes in attempt to figure out who he is.

as you read it, it goes on to show that he is proud of who he has met within himself so far, but is still learning about himself as he grows.
