<span>The answer to that question is Buddhist monks. This began in 1963 when protesters where shot
for demonstrating against the Buddhist’s Flag ban. This led to numerous protests by Buddhist
monks directed against President Ngo Dinh Diem. Diem was a Catholic whose
policies were partial to the Catholic minority.
Majority of the Vietnamese population was Buddhist and many were
oppressed by his policies. As a result many
monks held protests against his administration’s policies. One such demonstration led monks to set
themselves on fire. Later on a coup
overthrew Diem which led to his arrest and assassination on November 12, 1963.</span>
Having a railroad would make transportation of goods much easier. This would also make it safer and more efficient. There were a few risks involved but far less than transporting by conventional means.

By the beginning of the 17th century, the Pilgrims used to celebrate Thanksgiving after their harvests in the New World. At that time, the celebration took three days of praying as a way of thanking God.
The "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated in October 1621 when the Pilgrims got their first harvest in their new lands in America. Not only the Pilgrims but also the Native Americans attended the festival.
From 1789 Thanksgiving has been celebrated intermittently in the US until President A. Lincoln declared "Thanksgiving" a national holiday which would take place on the fourth Thursday of November.
