The graph of F(x), shown below, resembles the graph of G(x) x2, but it has
Bingel [31]

Correct answer is: F(x)=-x^2-3

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given a function:

The graph of is also shown in the given question figure.

It is a parabola with vertex at (0,0).

Sign of is positive, that is why the parabola opens up.

General equation of parabola is given as:

Here, in G(x), a = 1

Vertex (h,k) is (0,0).

As seen from the question figure,

The graph of F(x) opens down that is why it will have:

Sign of as negative. i.e.

And vertex is at (0,-3)

Putting the values of a and vertex coordinates,

Hence, the equation of parabola will become:

Brainliest Answer!!!
AleksandrR [38]
Its fairly straightforward. Since the bottom equation only has one unknown,x, because y=1.3, you can plug y in and solve for x. Once you find the value of x, you then have the value for two variables, x and y, and again have one unknown coefficient a. To solve for the coefficient you just plug in your y value (1.3) and your x value (which can be rounded to 0.42). Using a little bit of algebra, you can then solve for a which should be a=2.108. I am not sure if your teacher wants you to solve it this way but you could also use the elimination method or substitution method that you would of learned when discussing system of equations. But no matter which way you do it, the math follows the rules. Hope this helps. I’d suggest you solve it yourself to double check my work.

Find the equation of each line with the following general informatie (c) r-intercept a and slope m (d) inclination and y-interce
VikaD [51]

Let's use the slope-intercept equation:

\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ m=slope \\ b=y-intercept \\ x-intercept=a \\ x=\frac{y-b}{m} \\ x=\frac{y}{m}-\frac{b}{m} \\ x=\frac{y}{m}-a \\ or \\ y=mx+ma=m(x+a) \end{gathered}

------------------------------------

d)

\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ m=slope=\theta \\ b=y-intercept \\ y=\theta x+b \\  \end{gathered}
