Answer:

B). (1,8)

Step-by-step explanation:

You can build graphical using both equation

  1. y=x+7
  2. y=-2x+10

1. When y=0, so x=-7 and when x=0, so y=7

2. When y=0, so x=5 and when x=0, so y=10

So in the image graphic 1 is red and graphic 2 is blue and you can see they cross at (1,8)

To check

1=2 so, x+7=-2x+10 \\ 3x=3 \\ x=1

Replacing:

1. y=1+7=8 and 2. y= -2*1 +10=8

So (1,8)

JL is a common tangent to circles M and K at point J. If angle MLK measures 61ᵒ, what is the length of radius MJ? Round to the n
Dvinal [7]
In the problem of insufficient data quantities. I can get a general  solution. We know that tangent to a circle is perpendicular to the radius at the point of tangency. It's mean that triangles LJM and LJK are rights.

Let angle JLK like X.

So, angle JLM=61-x.

And it's mean that by using right triangle trigonometry

Radius MJ = LM*cos(61-X)
