It is given in  the question that

At a warehouse the employees can unload 18 trucks in 6 hours.

And we have to find the unit rate for unloading trucks .

Unit rate means , number of trucks unloaded per hour. And to find it, we have to divide number of trucks by number of hours. That is

= \frac{18}{6} = 3 trucks \ per \ hour

Therefore the unit rate is 3 trucks per hour .

A multiple-choice standard test contains total of 25 questions, each with four answers. Assume that a student just guesses on ea
weqwewe [10]

Answer:

a)  8*88*10⁻⁶ ( 0.00088 %)

b) 0.2137 (21.37%)

Step-by-step explanation:

if the test contains 25 questions and each questions is independent of the others, then the random variable X= answer "x" questions correctly , has a binomial probability distribution. Then

P(X=x)= n!/((n-x)!*x!)*p^x*(1-p)^(n-x)

where

n= total number of questions= 25

p= probability of getting a question right = 1/4

then

a) P(x=n) = p^n = (1/4)²⁵ = 8*88*10⁻⁶ ( 0.00088 %)

b) P(x<5)= F(5)

where F(x) is the cumulative binomial probability distribution- Then from tables

P(x<5)= F(5)= 0.2137 (21.37%)

The common point between lines y = 2x + 5 and y = ½ x + 6 is (3, 1/2). true or false
mixer [17]
The common point between y = 2x + 5 and y = (1/2)x + 6 will have the same values for x and y.

Therefore, set the two y expressions equal to obtain
2x + 5 = (1/2)x + 6

Subtract (1/2)x from each side.
(3/2)x + 5 = 6

Subtract 5 from each side.
(3/2)x = 1

Multiply each side by 2/3.
x = 2/3.

From the first equation, obtain
y = 2*(2/3) + 5 = 19/3.

The common point is (2/3, 19/3). It is not equal to (3, 1/2).
