Sufism has been referred to be the strict emulation of the Sunnah, that is, the way of life of Prophet Muhammed and the teachings, recitation, and meditation of the Quran constantly. The Sufis had traced most of their religious beliefs and traditions to Muhammad through his cousin and son-in-law Ali. Sufi in Arabic means, a man of wool or one who wears wool. The Sufis utmost aim and belief is to draw closer to Allah and please him in the aspects of worship, transactions, marriage, etc.
