Answer:

B.) The narrator cannot see what is beneath the waves.

Explanation:

In this excerpt, the narrator describes the waves as being "secret-keeping." This makes reference to the fact that the waves were hiding something. The narrator implies that the waves hide something because he is unable to see what is beneath the waves. Moreover, this description contributes to the idea of the ocean as vast and mysterious, which is the feeling that the author has when he thinks of the ocean.

How do the events in this poem connect to the first poem we read, “1975: Year of the Cat,” and the title of the novel, Inside Ou
Serga [27]

Answer: The poem “1975: Year of the Cat”, is about a ten-year-old girl who has only known her hometown and is encouraged by her family to have hope in life, but restricted to stay home. The title of the novel "Inside Out & Back Again" suggests a desire to get out of a place, but being put back for some reason, having then a similar plot to the first poem.

Explanation: We can encounter several similarities with both stories. The poem “1975: Year of the Cat,” tells the story of a little girl being trapped in her house by the family and society rules. However, she is encouraged by her mother to have hope in life. On the other hand, the novel "Inside Out & Back Again" tells the story of a girl the same age, who is also very united to her family, but somehow forced to stay inside due to the horrible place they moved to. Although the plot is not told in the title of the novel, the reader can infer that a back and forth situation occurs.

Why is gender equality important?
Brums [2.3K]
Gender equality is very important because it is not good to say that one gender is superior than the other. Everyon must be treated equally regardless of their gender, religion, caste, etc. and that is real freedom. Both men and women can work towards the development of a nation. They can share ideas and their views on how to make this world a better place. Everyone must be given a chance to express themselves, so that is why I say gender equality is important. Hope this answer helps. I know it's not really informative, so, apologies. Thank you. ❤️

Maru [420]
The lines that show that tragedy was brought not only to the two families but also to other families in Verona are: And I for winking at your discords too
Have lost a brace of kinsmen: all are punish'd. The word that involves the other families in Verona is the pronoun "all", showing that the tragedy also departed upon them.
