The correct answer is C) citizenship rights for freed slaves.

The option that was primarily a political challenge that the United States faced after the Civil War was " citizenship rights for freed slaves.

Civil War was officially ended, and the United States government had forbidden slavery in the US territory.  United States President Abraham Lincoln tried to reintegrate the Confederated States to the Union during the Reconstruction period, but his anxiety to do it quickly allowed the Southern States leeway to do Reconstruction in their own terms. There were many issues such as the citizenship rights for freed slaves that needed to be resolved. Northern people had supported abolitionism before and during the Civil War. They were more open to integrate black people in society and grant them rights. But in the Southern States, the story was so different to the degree that they authorized the implementation of the black codes.

How did media coverage of the war change as the fighting continued?
DerKrebs [107]
The media coverage during the Vietnam War gained popularity since more than half of the Americans have television. It became more engaging to see news in front of the audience's eyes than to read the newspapers. The evening news was more of the war than any other tv shows.

The negative effect of it was more people were ready to accept the news presented to them and loose understanding of the facts on their own.

Which two countries were NOT satellite states? choose two
Nina [5.8K]

Thus Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland and Rumania are by this definition satellite states. Yugoslavia is not because, although it is a Communist state, it is not at present subservient to the Kremlin nor an integral part of the Soviet system.

Therefore Yugoslavia and Estonia are left, making them not satellite states.
