Cities and civilizations are recent inventions.

History
1 answer:
GalinKa [24]3 years ago

This is not true. Cities and Civilizations go back to the time of the Agricultural/Neolithic revolution around 7 000 years ago.  For example, we have archaeological evidence for cities from this time.

However, the question depends on the interpretation of "recent": compared to the time span of evolution from Most Recent Common Ancestor with Chimpazees (5 million years ago): this is very recent.

Arrange the following groups in the proper order according to their place in society: Serfs, nobles, clergy, merchants, monarchs
mojhsa [17]

The correct order is the following.

We are talking about social classes during the feudal system in the European Middle Ages. So the classification was the following.

At the top of the pyramid, was the king, followed by the nobles, then the knights and vassals, next, farmers, merchants, and craftsmen. And at the bottom of the pyramid, peasants, and serfs.

The feudal system worked out well during the Middle ages in Europe. It protected people who were dedicated to doing their jobs, meanwhile, the nobility tried to exert its power and influence on the king and the pope.

•Pretend that the Declaration of Independence never occurred and that these are still problems in society today.
solong [7]
Had the Declaration of Independence never been drafted i believe that the United States of America would still be under Britains thumb. This being said one can assume that the tax policies would be severely different as they would change with each monarch, but yes taxation without representation and over taxation would still be a problem.

I hope that answered the question the specific 'Problems' weren't outlined so i i assumed you were referring to the problem of Taxation
