Years after the massacre, China still refuses to speak about the incident. It has banned any discussions about Tiananmen Square. Chinese school textbooks do not mention anything about this event that changed China’s future. Recently, when a journalist showed the image of the Tank Man to students in Beijing, China, very few recognized the image.
