It could be either.

1 + 1 + 1 = 3, which is prime

2 + 2 + 2 = 6, which is composite

-5/6+ -5/6 please help me
ehidna [41]
(-5/6)+(-5/6) have the same denominator (number at bottom of fraction), so all you have to do is add the numerator(top number). So -5 +-5 =-10 . Now you have -10/6, which simplifies to -5/3.
Hope this helps :)

Answer:

<h2><u>Given</u><u> </u><u>:</u><u>-</u></h2>
  • There are 595 total students in the school .
  • 60% of the total students voted to be the falcons .

\large\bf{\underline{To \:find }}

  • How many students voted not to be in falcon ?

\large\bf{\underline{Therefore  }}

‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎⟹ 100 - 60 = 40

  • 40% of the total students voted not be in falcon

\large\bf{\underline{Hence }}

‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎⟹ 40% of 595

‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎= \frac{40}{100}  \times 595

‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎=2 \times 119

‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎‎‎ ‎ ‎= 238

\bf{\underline{So , 238 \: students \:voted \:not\:to \:be\:in\: falcon }}

Solve the equation using the order of operations.<br><br> 5+{2×[(5−1)+6]}÷4
creativ13 [48]

Answer:

The order of operations is PEMDAS

First step is to do everything is parenthesis or brackets

5+{2*[(5-1)+6]}/4

{2*[(5-1)+6]}

First you would go 5-1=4, because that is the first equation that is in parenthesis by itself.

{2*[4+6]}

Next you would go 4+6=10, because that is your next smallest bracket

{2*10}

Last you would go 2*10=20

Your equation now looks like this

5+{20}/4

In PEMDAS your next step is exponents, but we don't have any so we go on to the next one which is multiply/division

5+5

You would go 20/4=5

Last step is to add/subtract

5+5=10

Your final answer would be 10

Hope this helps ;)
