Which of the following graphs shows a parabola with a vertex of (1,-9) and solutions of (-2,0) and (4,0)?
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Hello,

Step-by-step explanation:

Roots are -2 and 4

y=k*(x+2)(x-4)

Vertex = (1,-9) is a point of the parabola

-9=k*(1+2)(1-4) ==> k=1

Equation of the parabola is y=(x+2)(x-4)

But you don' t have given the graphs !!!!

Choose the product. -6p3(3p2 + 5p - 1) -18p5 - 30p4 + 6p3 -18p6 - 30p3 - 6p 18p3 + 6p2 - 30p4 -18p6 - 24p3
wlad13 [49]
-6p^3(3p^2 +5p -1) = -18p^5 -30p^4 +6p^3

so this is the right answer sure

The length of a rectangle is twice its width. if the area of the rectangle is 128 ft2 , find its perimeter.
kupik [55]
Length(l)= 2w
Width(w)= w
Area(A) = l*w

A= 128 ft²
128= l*w
128= (2w)w
2w²= 128
w²= 64
w=√64= 8 ft
w= 8 ft

length(l)= 2w
l=2(8)
l=16 ft

P= 2l+2w
P=2(16)+2(8)= 32+16= 48ft
P= 48ft

Answer:
The Perimeter of this rectangle is 48 feet.

Frank cut a 52 inch string into 3 pieces. The first piece is 20 inches long. The second piece is at least 12 inches long, but no
Eddi Din [679]
We need to figure out how much string would be left, after taking away the first two pieces.
We know that the first piece is 20 inches long, so we can say that there is 52-20 inches left, or 32 inches.

The second piece is between 12 and 18 inches, meaning that there would be between 32-12 and 32-18 inches left for the third piece, or 20 and 14 inches. This means that the third piece would be at least 14 inches long, but no more than 20, since we don’t have more string than that (20+12+20=52, and 20+14+18=52)

So we can say that x is greater or equal to 14, but less than or equal to 20, or:

14<=x<=20 (“<=“ is written like a normal “<“ sign with a line _ right under it)

Seven times the sum of a number and 8 equals 4
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

n= -52/7

Step-by-step explanation:

7(n+8)=4

(7×n)+ (7×8)=4

7n +56=4

7n +56-56=4-56

7n+0= -52

7n=-52

7n/7= -52/7

n= -52/7
