Answer

Hi,

If the opportunity cost of producing a particular good is lower for one producer than another, the former producer has comparative advantage for producing the good.

Explanation

A comparative advantage occurs when a producer is able to produce goods by using fewer resources at a lower opportunity cost. Increasing the production of one good will mean that less goods for another can be produced. This theory is advantageous in free trade because a producer can be able to realize higher output gains by selling goods in which he or she enjoys comparative advantage.

Best wishes!

How did the Soviet Union maintain control of East Germany after WWII?
Delvig [45]

Answer: The Soviet Union had a head start when it dealt with East Germany after WW2. The two most radical groups in Germany before the war were the Nazi's and the Communists. There was little doubt in the early 1930's that Stalin had a great influence on the Communist Party in Germany.

Explanation: After the War, a new Communist regime was placed in power with the military backing of the Soviet Union. The home grown Party members with the backing of the Soviet Union helped maintain East Germany as part of the Soviet Block.
