Wetlands are typically shallow, wide and vegetated inland freshwater environments that are saturated for a large proportion of the year or all the time. There is usually limited or no movement of water in wetlands, i.e., the water is static. Wetlands are important habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal life, such as reeds, fish, waterfowl etc. Wetlands also mitigate floods and provide a buffer against droughts.

Estuaries are typically wide shallow areas at the outlets of rivers to the sea. They are therefore typically salt water environments. Estuaries can form because of the closing of a river mouth or because of siltation, causing a wide and shallow delta. Estuaries also provide an important habitat for mangroves, fish and birds.

<span>
Homeostasis is the tendency to maintain a balanced (relatively constant) internal environment and it can also be defined as the stable state of an organism. Homeostasis is maintained at many levels, not just the level of the whole body (blood sugar levels, pH, fluid balance…). Wittaler [7]

Several are correct:

Affect males more than females

Can be carried by females

Are always expressed by males

A bit of explanation: sex linked genes are carried on the X chromosome. That’s why it affects males more than females...they only get one x from their mom. Females can be affected IF they receive 2 bad X chromosomes. So with a male, the bad gene on the x is always expressed. Color blindness is a good example of this.
