When Thomas is about to leave, he realizes he can’t find his keys. How could Thomas use the steps of the scientific method to locate his missing keys?
What is the first step of the scientific method? Apply this step to the scenario involving Thomas’s keys.
What is the second step of the scientific method? Apply this step to the scenario involving Thomas’s keys.
What is the third step of the scientific method? Apply this step to the scenario involving Thomas’s keys.
What is the fourth step of the scientific method? Apply this step to the scenario involving Thomas’s keys.

The first step is to make an observation (the moment he realized he didn't have his keys).

The second step is to form a question (where are his keys?).

The third step is to form the hypothesis (maybe he left it in his pants when he put it to wash?)

The fourth step is to conduct an experiment (check the wash for the keys).

The fifth step is analyze the data (did he find the keys?). If the data does not verify the hypothesis, edit the hypothesis in step 3 and continue on from there.

Ugo [173]

Answer:

C Differences among temperature, air pressure, and density

Explanation:

Classification of the atmosphere layer will be different based on the temperature, air pressure, and density.  Generally, air pressure and density will go less at the higher layer, but the temperature varies greatly. Altitude and latitude define a location on earth, not the layer of atmosphere. Most weather just happens at the troposphere layer. The distance from ground level can be used as a rough estimate but not as precise criteria.

irakobra [83]

Answer:

Centromeric DNA

Explanation:

Genes are responsible for formation of proteins. A codon produces a single amino acid and it comprises of three base pairs. The whole DNA of organism does not contribute to encode protein. There are sequences in DNA that does not contribute in coding known as non-coding DNA and perform different functions. These may include the O O O 5-end, DNA coding for a signal sequence, noncoding intron and O promoter sequence .

The centromere is the part of DNA that links the sister chromatids. The centromere is not converted to mRNA or proteins.  It is also not involved in regulation of genes. So it did not contribute to 864 bp found in the yfg gene.

Answer:

Pancreas secrets two hormones called insulin and glucagon which helps in maintaining the glucose level in the blood.

Explanation:

Pancreas secrets a hormone called as insulin, which helps the cell in absorbing the glucose by reducing the blood sugar and providing glucose for energy. On falling of the sugar level pancreas releases a hormone called glucagon. This glucagon informs the pancreas about the presence of low sugar in blood, after which it releases the stored glucose, and helps in raising the blood sugar level. Alpha cell of pancreas produces glucagon.
