It is a typical Wednesday for Thomas. He gets dressed for work in the morning, grabs his briefcase and drives to work. Today, Th

The first step is to make an observation (the moment he realized he didn't have his keys).

The second step is to form a question (where are his keys?).

The third step is to form the hypothesis (maybe he left it in his pants when he put it to wash?)

The fourth step is to conduct an experiment (check the wash for the keys).

The fifth step is analyze the data (did he find the keys?). If the data does not verify the hypothesis, edit the hypothesis in step 3 and continue on from there.
