Answer:

The decline of the American buffalo is  linked to the development of the Dust Bowl in this passage because:

B Buffalo had helped fertilize the prairie grasses.

Explanation:

To understand this answer we need to analyze the context. First of all the Dust Bowl is the name given to identify the drought in a certain region called the dust bowl. It was composed of regions from Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Kansas. And it happened because of the overexploitation of the environment. The farmers changed the ecosystem by transforming the majority of the land in the zone into agricultural land. Also, they killed the animals in the zone. Including buffalos, which they hunted until they were seen in small groups. Even though these animals helped the ecosystem to be balanced.

Fudgin [204]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you forgot to attach the cartoon. Without the cartoon, we do not know its content, just you know it.

However, trying to help you with something, we can comment on the following.

Based on what we know about how the Nazi-Soviet Nonaggression Pact ended, some cartoons of the time depicted the probable consequences of the ending of this pact. And indeed, they were prophetic. Europe was on the brink of another major war.

Joseph Stalin and Adolph Hitler signed a non-aggression pact on August 23, 1939. In the so-called German-Soviet Nonaggression Pact, both countries agreed not to take any military aggression or action against each other for a period of 10 years. The pact only lasted two years because, in 1941, Hitler invaded the Soviet Union.

1) It's a split up snake, describes it I guess haha.
2) The chopped body conveys the states not being collective on things, that they were too much separated from one another.
3) The initials stand for the different states.
4) N.E. stands for New England.
5) S.C. stands for South Carolina.
6) Yes, there is a geographic progression. It starts in the Carolinas (and whatnot) and goes past Pennsylvania, New York, and ends in New England.
7) I would have to guess P (for Pennsylvania), because that's where he lived most of his life, although he was born in Massachusetts which'd be the <em>M</em>. I'm pretty sure it'd be <em>P, </em>though.
8) His fear is that the colonies would lose the <em>7 years War</em> (also called the <em>French and Indian War</em>), if they didn't join and fight together.
9) The phrase "this Undertaking" is referring to the war going on (<em>7 years War / French and Indian War</em>)
10) The cartoon could have helped lead to the American Revolution by uniting the states, which'd help them in revolting against Britain and gaining independence, as working together works better than fighting separately and alone.
