Step-by-step explanation: First , open the brackets

7( 12 - 2x ) = 4 (3 - 3x )

84 - 14x = 12 - 12x

collect the like terms

84 - 12 = - 12x + 14x

72 = 2x

Therefore divide through by 2

x = 72/2

x = 36

Therefore, the equation has only one solution
