This made Dred filed case in 1846 against the Stanford(Irene's Family) Irene transferred them to her family by retaining her ownership.
He won the case yet ruling stated that he's still a slave. That means negro people may be in the US from its starting yet they are not Americans. Thus the Constitutional amendments are not applicable for them. Later he sold to his first owner and he got his freedom in 1857 and he died after 18 months.
