Answer:

b) (-3 + 5i)(1) = -3 + 5i

Step-by-step explanation:

First let's see what a multiplicative identity.

The multiplicative identity property states that any time you multiply a number by 1, the result is the original number.

Therefore, 1 is the multiplicative identity.

For instance, 3 * 1 = 3

Hence, according the property

(-3 + 5t)(1) = -3 + 5i states the multiplicative identity.

Hope you will understand the concept.

Thank you.

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for slope is

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

The person who tried to solve the problem did

Subtracted the x's over the y's instead of the y's over the x's

It should be (0-3)/(-4 -2)

                     -3/-6

Plz help 20 points if you get it right and I will give you brainliest
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

The first one cannot be simplified

reason: usually when simplifying an expression you combine like terms but in the given expression there are no like terms

An example of like terms would be 6a and 9a

Essentially what i am saying is that the variables have to be the same in order for them to be combined

The second one is 36r

This is the answer because they tried to combine like terms that aren't similar

r and f are not the same variable therefore they cannot be combined

Hope this helps :)
