Answer:

B.It shows the prince thinking that his civilization has reached a glorious peak.

Explanation:

This is the most accurate description of how paragraph 2 helps develop the setting of this story. In this paragraph, we see that the prince believes that his civilization has reached a glorious peak. This develops the setting by implying that the civilization the Prince lives in is one of refinement and advancement. Moreover, it implies that the civilization is particularly developed when compared to others that existed at the time.

vichka [17]

For the first red, you don't need an article before "relationship".

When you're saying "type of [word]", do not put any article before that word.

Example: "a type of device"

Not too sure about the "your back" parts. It could be your teacher does not like repition.

Also not too sure about "did". He probably wanted you to use the word "felt" instead of "did feel"

The first word of the last paragraph should be "in" not "at".

The red commas definitely do not need to be there.

Don't know why he marked "time to" and "to" red.

Think about the two specific stanzas that the blues singer sings in “The Weary Blues.” What happens in each of the stanzas? How
jonny [76]

Answer and Explanation:

The poem's first stanza shows how the environment was affected by the music the man played. In the second stanza, the poem shows all the melancholy and sadness in the music that the man sang, but somehow, the reader can see that music is a way of expression for this man, it's the way he puts these sad feelings out . Thus, the contrast between these two stanzas show how the man who is very sad about his own life, feels better after singing, because the music relieves him.

This reinforces the overall theme of the poem. This theme shows that melancholy, loneliness and sadness can be lightly relieved through music and artistic expression.
