Nativism and immigration policies:

Nativism is the policy to endorse the security of the native population against those of immigrants. The immigration of people from other countries like Japan, Europe, and Africa has created a problem like unemployment for the Native American population.

To protect the native population the American congress has passed a bill called, The immigration Act of 1924 in which immigration policy and procedures are constituted. It had formulated a system to limit the number of immigrants based on the job requirement and skill level. A quota system has been introduced proportionate to the immigrant population. This Act of 1924 has reduced the tension between the natives and immigrants.

Answers to "Valley Forge: Would you have quit?"
xeze [42]

I can't really answer this for you because this is YOUR opinion but here's what I would've said; Yes, I would have because of the extreme hardships the militia men had to go through. During that winter, many soldiers had suffered the consequences of going through and not quitting the journey but if I were one of them, I would've quit. Even though I know that I have to fight for the country, I would not have been able to go through with the lasting consequences. Men had to walk through treacherous snow which also was cold and wet, this was not a good environment for soldiers to be in.

lbvjy [14]
The attacks were mainly placed in the southern colonies: this was due to the prevalence of Loyalists, who had positive trade relations with the British empire. Concentrating the attacks in the south meant fewer colonists hostile to the British cause and a likely easier foothold in the colonies.
