Answer:

According to me, option D would be correct. puritans beliefs were ideal. they adhered to the conformity of the church, its idea of godliness showed everywhere in the society and even in politics. Puritans weren't particular about democracy. Their leaders believed that hard work and discipline were key to a strong and consolidated political and social structure. These ideas were quite impractical with advent of time that they had to be discarded while establishing constitution.
