-2x - 2y +  (2x + 3y)   =  -12   + 14

or, y = 2

Now, put y =2 in x + y =6, we get

x = 6 - y = 6 -2 = 4

So, x = 4 and y = 2 is the solution of the given system.

Hence,  Alyssa buys 4 cups of frozen fruit puree and She  buys  2 cups of yogurt.
