The LCD for the given equation is 2x²
We will multiply each term by this factor as follows:
1- Left hand side:
\frac{x^2 - x - 6}{x^2} * 2x² = 2x² - 2x - 12 ...........> I

2- Right hand side:
First term:
\frac{x - 6}{2x} * 2x² = x² - 6x ..............> II

Second term:
\frac{2x + 12}{x} * 2x² = 4x² + 24x .............> III

From I, II and III, the equation now becomes:
2x² - 2x - 12 = x² - 6x + 4x² + 24x 
2x² - 2x - 12 = 5x² + 18x 
5x² + 18x - 2x² + 2x + 12 = 0
3x² + 20x + 12 = 0
